One of my favorite band's, The Gorillaz, are doing a tour...virtually. They are swinging a one day event online on August 24th.
The group will go through a community forum and interact with fans speaking as their cartoon egos through teen site habbohotel. How cool is that? And their site is extreme candy check it out.
Twenty-four lucky participants will receive "backstage" passes to conduct private interviews with each of the band members.
The brainchild of Blur's Damon Albarn, the Gorillaz are: Noodle, 2D, Murdoc Nicals and Russel Hobbs. The band's sophomore disc, "Demon Days," was released earlier this year.
Each tour stop will take place at a different Habbo Hotel country Web site. The U.S. appearance will begin at 4 p.m.(ET).

gorillaz are awesome. the new album is amazing. (favorite tracks: Dirty Harry, Every Planet We Reach Is Dead, O Green World).
