Madonna is reportedly "smitten" with Alex Rodriguez. Naww! She supposedly told a friend, "Alex has the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body." Gush.

Rumor is that Alex sends Madonna regular love letters. "Alex has been writing Madonna these sweet, personal and rambling expressions of his feelings - sort of like old-fashioned love notes."

A source close to Rodrikay said, "A-Rod was living in an apartment on Columbus Circle, five blocks from Madonna's New York base in Central Park West. But now he wants to move three blocks north to 15 Central Park West - meaning he would only be two blocks away from Madonna."

Eminem has reportedly delayed the release of his cd Relapse until spring 2009. It was expected to drop at the end of this year. One source said, "There was never a release date set."

Another source passed this, "Eminem has been through a lot. He is being a perfectionist and is completely obsessive-compulsive about this album. There's a 50-50 chance it will be done by the end of this year - but most likely it'll be the first quarter of next year... It's great." His rep denied to comment. Hope it's worth the wait...

According to Life & Style, Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry purchased a nice hideaway in the small town of Saint-Hippolyte in Quebec, Canada. They paid a little over a million for the dreamy pad in Gabriel's hometown of about 7,000 residents. "It feels great," he said. "Anything we can do in our hometown is always a good feeling."

The house is modern and has an open feel, with gorgeous views from every angle- including their private dock over a tranquil, clear lake. A local told L&S, "It's very quiet here. There are lots of mountains, lakes and woods. Most people come to do outdoor activities like snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Last year we had 4 to 5 feet of snow." How romantic...

Brintey's little Jayden rushed to hospital

Britney Spears went back home to Louisiana with her two boys for their first visit over the weekend. The Mail reports that her 2-year-old, Jayden, was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a seizure. Britney took her toddler to the ER after "he collapsed and fell ill." Federline is said to be on his way for support.

They claim little Jayden was "vague and unresponsive" so Britney called 911. After learning it would take half an hour for the ambulance to arrive, Brit whisked Jayden off to the hospital herself. "Jayden James had to be kept in hospital overnight for observation. We don't yet know what's wrong with him. Britney was insistent that she wouldn't leave him. She asked for a bed to be made up in the same room so she could be there at his side."

This is the first time Brit has actually been allowed to travel alone with her boys...poor thing. Get better little guy!
