Out.com has named their top 50 "Most Powerful Gay Men and Women in America." Anderson Cooper came in at #2, with Ellen DeGeneres right under him at #3. There's a visual. To name a few, Rosie O'Donnell came in at #6, and Marc Jacobs hit #8. Perez Hilton was named #17--above Tom Ford at #23, and Annie Leibovitz at #29....huh?
Out says their ranking system was based on "a weighted system of criteria, awarding scores based on (1) political clout; (2) pop-culture resonance; (3) individual wealth; and (4) current personal profile."

I think the list is pretty fair. All power to Ellen for being as high as three. She really has come a long way in the last 10 years.
