Last week Life & Style obtained a draft of Julian Fellow's screenplay and scenes go down a similar burning path. Except not with Brad. Angelina's rumored co-star is luscious, charming Johnny Depp. (Word is Tom Cruise was originally intended to play the role. Bad visual.)
Jolie will play Interpol agent Cara Mason and Depp will play Frank Taylor, an American tourist who she uses to get what she wants. Shocker.
A scene from the draft goes like this, "The outline of her naked body is visible in the shower. Frank walks to the shower and opens the glass door. Walking in, he lifts Cara against the glass, clutching at her slithery body, kissing her frantically. She kisses him back with ardor, wrapping her dripping legs around his back." Yowza.
Johnny, 46 and Jolie, 34 will start shooting at the beginning of the year and will release in 2011. Will the be sparks? Tun tun tunnn..

Dancing With the Stars Joanna Krupa's new PETA ad is meant to catch your attention, and it looks like it already has. The message is to "always adopt and never buy animals from a pet store or breeder." Agreed! However, The Catholic League isn't too happy with this one.
Catholic League President Bill Donohue says that PETA has "launched a Christmas campaign that exploits Christian symbols."
"In my heart I know that Jesus would never condone the suffering that results when dogs and cats are allowed to breed," Krupa responded. The Trump Rule
TMZ obtained "a tape recorded during the pre-show screening portion of the 2009 pageant, in which Trump can clearly be heard exercising "The Trump Rule." The rule guarantees a certain number of "beautiful" women will advance in the contest.

On the tape, Trump explains that when he "bought" the Miss USA pageant, "the most beautiful people were never chosen. And I went nuts." So, according to the audio, Trump implemented "The Trump Rule" -- in which he and his staff of "professionals" would select "almost half" of the women who would automatically make it into the first round of the contest. Leo and the School of Scorsese
Leonardo DiCaprio just finished up Shutter Island, his fourth film with Martin Scorsese. Leo says working with Scorsese is like attending school. The director asks the cast to watch "a vast number of films before working on a new project because the filmmaker is so insistent on thorough research."
"We watch a lot of films for lighting and mood tone, a lot of obscure movies," Leo said. "I remember for 'The Aviator' we watched 'House of Wax' just for the dialogue - because Marty remembered the dialogue in that movie was really snappy." Obscure.
He continues, "It's like a little cool learning workshop before we start to make the movie. It's a film course, you get a crash course, like an education."
"He's the best teacher. I'm sure that there are professors out there but I would challenge anyone to know as much about movies as him.
"I would see Marty up there against anyone in the world as far as film knowledge is concerned because it's weird. He knows not only the film but the editor and second assistant director of an obscure French film. It's weird because that's what he does, that's all he does, that's who he is. He's a man of film."

This week's Entertainment Weekly covered a Seinfeld reunion with Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld), George (Jason Alexander), Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Kramer (Michael Richards) as the cast joined old pal Larry David for the new season of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm.
When David approached Seinfeld about a reunion plot on Curb in spring 2008, Jerry was pretty cool with the notion. "The idea of working with Larry was just too overwhelmingly appealing to me, and [Curb] is such a great show," he says. "There was a little part of me that said, ‘Do we really want to tamper?'...But to hell with it. How much damage can you really do?"...
It's the anti-reunion reunion," says Louis-Dreyfus, "and I'd like to copyright that."

It reveals how each developed his unique sound and style of playing favorite instruments, guitars both found and invented. Concentrating on the artist’s musical rebellion, traveling with him to influential locations, provoking rare discussion as to how and why he writes and plays, this film lets you witness intimate moments and hear new music from each artist. The movie revolves around a day when Jimmy Page, Jack White, and The Edge first met and sat down together to share their stories, teach and play."

How is this film different from other music documentaries?
While there have been a lot of performance documentaries, this one is really about the relationship between these three men and their instruments. We tried to show what drives the artists, what got them passionate as players, what made them pick up the guitar in the first place.
Where did you come up with this concept?
The guitar is something I am ardent about. I was thinking how, on a global level, the personification of contemporary music IS the guitar: from video games to debates over Top 10 guitarists lists, from rock to jazz to blues, this instrument captures everyone's imagination. It was a subject I hadn't really seen explored on film, from that perspective.
How did you choose Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White? What was it like working with them?
It was almost like casting a movie. We wanted to show a wide range of styles and eras by focusing on three of the best players in the world, from three generations...and they said yes! Like many kids, I had a poster of Jimmy Page on my wall--he is a living legend. U2 is one of the greatest bands ever, and The Edge is a brilliant and distinctive player. Jack White is the new generation--cutting his own path but also keeping the guitar, and great guitar traditions, alive.
What do you hope audiences will experience while watching the film?
Honestly, I made this film for people like me, people who love music and the experience of a live show. When you love a band or a musician you want to know how and why they do what they do-what makes them tick. Davis was able to show this, to get inside these guys' worlds and inside their heads in a way I don't think any other music documentary has. I hope fans are as excited and fulfilled by seeing and hearing what he uncovered as I am.

2009 MTV Video Music Awards
MTV has announced the nominees for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. "The ladies lead the pack as Beyonce and Lady Gaga earn nine nominations each. Britney Spears follows with seven combined nominations." Jay-Z, Green Day, Eminem, Kanye West and Coldplay are all up for awards.
Russell Brand will host, expect Green Day, P!nk, Taylor Swift and Muse to perform. Katy Perry, Ne-Yo and Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford are confirmed presenters.

Renee Zellweger will begin filming the third installment of Bridget Jones at the end of the year. Time for pizza and skittles for breakfast.
"The story will likely focus on 40-ish Bridget's desire to have a baby before time runs out."
Renee gained 30 lbs. for the last two films. She told the Daily Mail, "Can I just tell you my body is whacked by the time we finish one of those? It doesn't know what has happened because it thinks there's supposed to be a baby and there's no christening."
Renee said overeating was fun at first, "For two days it's bliss...Then after a week your glucose levels are going crazy. You're up and down and all over the place. It doesn't feel good, and no one wants to hear that, but it's the truth."

If you haven't heard the huge news, Tony Romo broke up with Jessica Simpson last week- the night before her 29th birthday. Nice timing.
"She is heartbroken," a source told People. "She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show The Price of Beauty. They decided to part ways."
Jessica had planned to throw a Barbie and Ken-themed party for her birthday, but it fell through, according to a message she wrote on Twitter. "Barbie party didn't happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!" she wrote.
On Sunday she Tweeted, "Everyone needs to know that hope floats ... grab the strings and pull it back to you." Three hours later, she wrote, "Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace." I don't understand this cute Texas girl. Does she simply fall in love too fast? Daddy issues? According to Michael Jackson's friend of 20 years, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Michael was working on new music that "he hoped would move the world."
Chopra says, "He was talking about this new song that he had done. He had shared that with me. I think I'm the only person who has the music right now... We were talking about all these things like how the earth is our body. He was thinking really big."
"He arranged a very elaborate way of getting these tapes to me, these CDs, with three bodyguards and a limousine with shaded windows. You would think he was transferring the secrets of the CIA to me. Michael Jackson has died
TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles after going into cardiac arrest, paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance.
"He was picked up at his home around 20 minutes ago -- we're told his mother is on the way to visit him."
