People named Hugh Jackman the new Sexiest Man Alive and George Clooney is weirding out over it. "George Clooney rang me at two in the morning," Jackman tells People.com "I was half asleep and I said to him, 'Ah, George sweetie, good to hear from you.'"

"He goes, "'Shut up, Jackman!'" Hugh "jokingly" claims. "He said,'I know what you did! You started this big campaign that's been going on and you took the title away from me.'" Creepy? So, two in the morning huh? Drunk calling? Drunk texting would have been way more appropriate.

"I thought that was unnecessary," Jackman deadpanned, People says. Get over yourself George. Hop in the back seat and get comfy. Meanwhile, Hugh's dad is also uneasy about the whole sexy thing.

"My old man traveled over with me and we landed in America ... and all of sudden we were stopped at the airport and saw the Sexiest Man Alive magazine and everyone is talking about it. My father found it really uncomfortable."

"My dad said to me, 'I can't really talk to you about being sexy. It's a little weird.'" Hugh added, "Mind you, I'm still waiting for the birds and the bees pitch from him. That hasn't happened either!" How cute.

Michelle Williams finally spoke out about losing Heath Ledger. It has been almost a year since Heath died of a prescription drug overdose at the age of 28. When asked how she had been doing, she waited before answering, "It's so sad. I guess it's always changing. What else can I say?" she says. "I just wake up each day in a slightly different place -- grief is like a moving river, so that's what I mean by 'it's always changing.'"

"It's a strange thing to say, because I'm at heart an optimistic person, but I would say in some ways it just gets worse. It's just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone. In some ways it gets worse. That's what I would say." Tears!

Williams said that acting has helped her cope. "It's given me a sense of self-esteem, self-worth. I have this thing that I'm in love with -- acting -- and now it has this baggage." She plans to take a year off to spend time with their 3-year-old daughter, Matilda.

"I don't want to work while she's in school," Williams says of Matilda. "I want her to have a routine. I want the plainest, simplest, most ordinary, habituated routine possible. I just want to know what's coming next." We all do...bless her heart!

Eminem has reportedly delayed the release of his cd Relapse until spring 2009. It was expected to drop at the end of this year. One source said, "There was never a release date set."

Another source passed this, "Eminem has been through a lot. He is being a perfectionist and is completely obsessive-compulsive about this album. There's a 50-50 chance it will be done by the end of this year - but most likely it'll be the first quarter of next year... It's great." His rep denied to comment. Hope it's worth the wait...

According to Life & Style, Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry purchased a nice hideaway in the small town of Saint-Hippolyte in Quebec, Canada. They paid a little over a million for the dreamy pad in Gabriel's hometown of about 7,000 residents. "It feels great," he said. "Anything we can do in our hometown is always a good feeling."

The house is modern and has an open feel, with gorgeous views from every angle- including their private dock over a tranquil, clear lake. A local told L&S, "It's very quiet here. There are lots of mountains, lakes and woods. Most people come to do outdoor activities like snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Last year we had 4 to 5 feet of snow." How romantic...

Brintey's little Jayden rushed to hospital

Britney Spears went back home to Louisiana with her two boys for their first visit over the weekend. The Mail reports that her 2-year-old, Jayden, was rushed to the hospital after suffering from a seizure. Britney took her toddler to the ER after "he collapsed and fell ill." Federline is said to be on his way for support.

They claim little Jayden was "vague and unresponsive" so Britney called 911. After learning it would take half an hour for the ambulance to arrive, Brit whisked Jayden off to the hospital herself. "Jayden James had to be kept in hospital overnight for observation. We don't yet know what's wrong with him. Britney was insistent that she wouldn't leave him. She asked for a bed to be made up in the same room so she could be there at his side."

This is the first time Brit has actually been allowed to travel alone with her boys...poor thing. Get better little guy!
