Jessica Simpson at the 24th Annual KISS 99.9 Chili Cook Off on the 25th. Yes, the girl has gained weight. Yes the public has the right to comment on it. This does not mean that people are "putting down women because they are not a size 2."
People are commenting on her weight gain because she makes a LIVING sporting her sexpot image. She created her look, she splashed the daisy dukes and fans are used to her barbieness. No drama when people were saying how sexy she looked. Now that she has gained some weight, the public isn't supposed to notice or comment on it? Come on. It is what it is. She doesn't look bad... but please do not expect people to act like they don't notice or make remarks when a famous person looks different- especially when they usually look like this. I honestly thought these photos would have brought on more of the camel toe remarks. Next.

Salma Hayek and Colin Farrell brought the sparks out at the Golden Globe's earlier this month. "While they were both backstage, he held her face and kissed her several times. It was very intimate, not like they were just pals," a lurker told Star mag.
Salma and Colin supposedly tried the love back in 2004 while shooting Ask the Dust. "Colin was in love with her but was too screwed up on booze and drugs to make a good boyfriend to her. Now that he's sober, their chances are much better." Their source adds, "She has always adored him!"

Survivor 18
Details are out on the cast of Survivor 18: Tocantins – the Brazilian Highlands. Contestants include a Grammy nominated singer, a cowboy, the Bare Naked millionaire, a tattooed grandma and an extreme kayaker who rowed 6,132 miles solo. TV Guide magazine caught up with the cast as they shared their strategies.
Brendan Synnott: the 30-year-old Bare Naked granola millionaire from NYC. "I think it's healthy to have everything taken away from you and then have to rebuild…that's good character building."
Spencer Duhm: one of the youngest players ever on Survivor. He has been studying Survivor since the age of 11 and trusts no one. "You have to assume they are going to screw you."
Taj Johnson-George: a Grammy nominated member of the R&B group SWV from the 90s. Married to former Tennessee Titan Eddie George, Taj plans to "tear 'em up when I get out there."
Benjamin Wade: an extreme kayaker who rowed 6,132 miles solo. "I'm in this game because I want to change it. It's become survival of the weakest. I want the strongest to survive….may the best man or woman win."

Metallica at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2009 Inductee Press Conference in NYC. The band will be inducted on April 4. Other inductees include Run DMC, Jeff Beck, Little Anthony and the Imperials, and Bobby Womack.
Artists are eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first album. Lars Ulrich said, "We've done this our way. Twenty-seven, 28 years later, we're here." Rock on.

Enough. Lohan is ready for some lollipop
After a year of looking for herself, Lindsay Lohan may be ready to finally break it off with Samantha Ronson. The two had a dog/cat fight on NYE at Miami's SET club in front of "shocked" onlookers.
By the time the two made it to Mansion, the verbal battle continued. Lohan ran out of the club into an alley and yelled, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!" Bahaha. Is that how it works?
At their hotel, they were fighting so bad the "pair exchanged blows in a corridor until security intervened." They trashed the room and security guards had to take pics of the damage.
A gaping witness says, "The screams and crashing from their room were heard all over the hotel. They spilled out into the hallway at 11am on New Year's day, kicking and punching each other." Butch fight.
"People were watching. They were going for it - it was scary. Lindsay seemed unstable. At one point she dropped to her knees and cried, 'Why are you doing this to me?' Sam just said, 'I don't know you.'" The old Lindsay is back.
In LA, Linds was spotted leaving their house "carrying a large bag after the couple's vicious argument."

Hudson told February's Elle, "I always loved boys. I still love boys. I have always had a boyfriend." Since divorcing Chris Robinson two years ago, she's hooked it up with Owen Wilson, Lance Armstrong and Dax Shepard.

Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell welcomed twin girls last week, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. They arrived on December 28. Romijn's rep said, "Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well."
The couple's pal Howard Stern explained the chosen names on his show, "Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named the one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry got to name the other one Charlie, but his brother's name is Charlie -- and it's a girl Charlie." Awww...future hot chicks!

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, died Friday while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas.
"Jett suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. According to police spokeswoman Loretta Mackey, who spoke with the Associated Press, Jett hit his head in a bathtub Friday morning and was declared dead at Rand Memorial Hospital."
Jett is the only son of Travolta, 54, and Preston, 46. They also have a daughter, Ella Bleu, 8.
