Sharon Stone has angered the people of Norway after "breaking royal protocol and upstaging the country's King and Queen at a banquet."
But she's a star! Royal protocol in Europe dictates that when a King and Queen attend an event, everyone is required to be in their seats when the royal couple make their entrance, making them the last to arrive.
Stone offended the Norwegian royals by strolling into the room 10 minutes after the couple, which "has been interpreted by Norwegians as the actress declaring herself more important than the King."
Stone's faux paus also offended several guests, with former palace official Carl-Erik Grimstad calling it a "violation" of international custom. He tells Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, "When the king is invited to such an event, guests need to have a very good reason for arriving after he does. I'm sure that if she didn't have a good reason, she'll be sorry about it." You think? Sorry for about 10 minutes maybe

Former British royal Sarah Ferguson has been offered the chance to appear on Dancing With The Stars, after publicly announcing her desire to star on the show.
Dancing With The Stars producer Conrad Green says, "Fergie will add a touch of class to the proceedings and the fans will be waiting to see if she falls for her dance partner. Everyone loves a royal romance and her presence will bring dazzling ratings. We like having a mixture and we've not had a duchess." Why is that funny?
85lb kid arrested for DUI
In case you missed it, a loaded Nicole Richie was arrested yesterday for driving the wrong way on the freeway in Burbank. She was booked about 5am and was released just a couple of hours later. Her rap sheet shows that she really is just 85lbs and 5'1". Can you imagine what an ounce of anything does to her? Or is the tolerance null and void?
TMZ reports two motorists saw her and called 911. Law enforcement officers tell TMZ Nicole admitted she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot.
A preliminary alcohol screening device revealed that Nicole was not under the influence of alcohol.
A source told TMZ that while Richie was at the jail she was "very cooperative and very humble."

Bond sells his hot pants
The tuxedo worn by James Bond star Daniel Craig has sold for $23,535 at an auction to raise money for UK children's charity Childline. Hmmm. Guess the new owner will have to let the front of the pants out a little...
A visit to the set of "Lost" had a final bid of $10,198. The auction marks Childline's 20th birthday, and the charity aims to collect $39 million in the next year to help an extra 1,000 children every day. An estimated $294,195 was raised this time around

Tony and Eva get their plan on
Eva has hired celeb wedding planner Mindy Weiss to get the details going for her big day with Tony Parker.
"I'm so excited that they chose me to do their wedding. I can't wait," Weiss said. Weiss planned the weddings for both Nick and Jessica, and Charlie Sheen & Denise Richards.
Eva plans to marry Tony in his native France next summer. They say the wedding will be a "big, happy ceremony with lots of family and friends."

In Touch reports that Lance Armstrong enjoyed a quick hook up with Estella Warren. They ate at Hugo's in Hollywood in a "cozy corner of the cafe."
A witness said, "They seemed like they were having a good time and exchanged phone numbers. They left in separate cars, but as she was walking back to hers, she turned around and wolf-whistled at him and he blushed. It was very cute." Jeez. Was the witness sitting at their table?
Nic Cage....taking a break
Nicolas Cage said that he has made plenty of films and now he wants to explore his other interests- such as helping develop independent cinema in his new home of the Bahamas.
"I'm thinking about taking more time in between movies," he said. "I feel I've made a lot of movies already and I want to start exploring other opportunities that I can apply myself to, whether it's writing or other interests that I may develop."
Cage was in Nassau last week to receive the Chopard Award for career achievement. Sean Connery presented the award at the Atlantis Theater in Paradise Island.
"Nic is a professional and brings to the table all the stuff that makes it a real joy," Connery said.

Wesley Snipes surrenders
Wesley Snipes was arrested today in Florida on charges of tax fraud, according to People.
Snipes had been filming a movie in Namibia, ignoring the warrant issued for his arrest. He is charged with fraudulently claiming nearly $12 million in tax refunds and failing to file returns from 1999 through 2004. Good God man!
Snipes flew into the Orlando International Airport and voluntarily surrendered. If found guilty on the tax-fraud charges, Snipes could face up to 16 years in prison.

The Bachelor's dream girl is allegedly cheating on him already, according to The Enquirer.
Just weeks after Jennifer Wilson accepted a ring from Prince Lorenzo Borghese, word is that she's "secretly dating Dan Herrero, another teacher from the school where she works."
"I can't believe I had just watched her accept the last rose from Prince Lorenzo on television, then only days later she was making out with Dan!" a source told the Enquirer. "When Dan asked Jennifer about what she was going to do about Lorenzo, she told him point blank that she doesn't have any romantic feelings for him at all and has absolutely no intention of following through with their plans to start a future together," says the source. There are photos of the two on a beach together in this weeks issue. What a waste.

Farrah is feeling good
Farrah Fawcett has completed cancer treatment and is doing well, her publicist said yesterday.
Farrah, 59, wrapped up several weeks of treatment last week after being diagnosed recently with the disease.
"Her spirits are high, she's feeling good," her rep said. "Her plans are to recover and take the time to heal, and she's also looking forward to the holidays with her family."

Eddie Murphy has dumped his Spice Girl girlfriend Mel B and is demanding a DNA test to prove that he is actually the father of her unborn baby.
Murphy let it all out in an interview with Dutch TV show "RTL Boulevard" to promote his new film "Dreamgirls"
When asked if he was happy with Mel, Murphy snapped, "You're being presumptuous, because we're not together anymore. And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir." Yikes.
Just last Sunday, Mel B was going on about her six month relationship with Murphy saying, "We're in love and get on really well. All the children have met and get on too - it's like a great big happy family. I can't wait to spend Christmas with him and I can't wait to have this baby." This baby? Yup. It's not his.

Lane Garrison...accident prone
Lane Garrison, of the tv show Prison Break, endured an unfortunate accident when his SUV struck a tree Saturday night, killing a 17-year-old boy. Just six weeks ago, Garrison was involved in another SUV crash.
A TMZ camera caught Garrison leaving Hyde nightclub on October 20, right after his Land Rover struck an Infiniti in front of him. The driver of the Infiniti began shouting, "Hey stop the car, stop the car, you hit my car!"
Once Garrison saw the TMZ camera, he hid his head, pulling his jacket over his face, as he was still driving.
"As for the far more serious crash over the weekend, two 15-year-old girls, as well as the 26-year-old Garrison, were also inside. It's unclear who was driving."

Russell Crowe has been "let go" by highly respected public relations guru Robin Baum. He is now depending on William Morris and Co, his acting agency, to handle his publicity.
Crowe allegedly paid a recent visit to an emergency room in Sante Fe while filming his new movie 3:10 to Yuma sparking rumors that he may have been involved in yet another ruckus.
A source told the New York Post, "He wasn't there - the only medical thing Russell has dealt with is finding a local chiropractor." He didn't do it! Whatever it is!
