On Feb. 2 a radio interviewer told Sambora that his wife, Heather Locklear, had just filed for divorce. "It's completely untrue!" Sambora said on the air. He even insisted that he'd be joining Heather at home in California for Valentine's Day.
Rumor is that hours before the interview, Locklear submitted divorce papers to the L.A. Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences. Star mag reports that she was in a big hurry...
A source reveals that in late January, Locklear, 44, "intercepted a steamy, X-rated e-mail to 46-year-old Richie from his leggy, brunette former assistant."
"Heather couldn't believe what she was seeing," says a friend of the actress, who adds that the shocking discovery led directly to the divorce filing. "It completely blew their marriage out of the water."
According to the friend, the e-mail, from Stephanie Heaton, 39, included racy photos that showed her lying on her side, wearing only fishnets and boots, and another one of "her wearing a baby-doll nightie in a provocative pose." The message read, says the friend, "Hi. Hope you like these." Seeing them "was like a hard kick in the stomach to Heather."

Soooo if Richie wanted naked pics of this woman, why not have them sent to his hotel room on the road? This just makes no sense. He's not stupid. I see spin, spin, spin. The report says Richie didn't have a relationship with this woman. Is this the first time a woman has hit on him? He's a rock star. This is lame.

Heather and her so-called ''friends''are out to bring him down, but in the process are just showing themselves up for the superficial bitches they are.
This infuriates me SO SO SO much...HOW ON EARTH do you 'intercept' an e-mail? She would have to have his password, which is of course possible, but if that was the case she would have seen that it was one spurious e-mail from an ex-employee.
I have a MILLION thoughts on this.. for example, Heather's machine kicking him yet again in the guts. It could have been sent in error to him, especially since she was his PA and could easily ahve sent it to the wrong person, it does say the e-mail wasn't ADDRESSSED to anyone, it just says 'Hi'. It could have been this woman was trying to split them up and did it with the single intention of Heather seeing it. It could be that this jilted employee is after a quick buck and sold this crap to the papers...
IT COULD BE THIS DAMN E-MAIL DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST. The truth is, THERE IS NO STORY...he recieves ONE SOLITARY e-mail and that;s the end of the marriage? We've all received e-mails we shouldn't have, it's everyday life, not grounds for divorce. There is NOTHING to say that he cheated AT ALL, jsut that he RECEIVED AN E-MAIL!!? Seriously, I'm very confused by it and ANGRY.
If this girl has nothing to do with anything, then she should sue for slander. Star have made some terrible allegations against her.
Heather needs to sort her friends out and PRONTO, simple as that, regardless of what went down. This article is insinuating that she is showing the e-mail to people, hardly the sign of a woman who is ''devastated''. The fact is, THERE IS A CHILD INVOLVED. Parents first instincts should be to protect the child, not allow your 'friends' to talk about stuff like this for the whole world to see

This is so retarded that I can't even find the words to express how bad I feel for Richie. He got set up, plain and simple and she just bolted and found an excuse to leave him. I'll tell you ladies one thing I was so angry when I heard about the divorce and how she did it; and then the story she ran to people magazine with, I felt like kicking Richie between the legs to see if he had any balls. Hmm.. interesting comments. I know NOTHING about Richie or Heather but let me tell you, this whole thing is fishy. Even if some idiot sent him nudes of herself, it doesn't mean he's cheating (and why would she send it to his home address when he wasn't there?). When he was first confronted with the news re divorce, he looked surprised, as if he didn't see it coming. No matter what he did, he didn't deserve to be treated like this. She realized how bad it looked and used that email story to make him look bad. Now she's out there, photographed playing baseball with her daughter.. Did she ever do it before? I'm very suspicious about her motives. I wouldn't be shocked if she had someone on the side and needed an excuse to divorce Richie. He doesn't seem to have a clue what's going on.
That's what I said about her playing baseball with the daughter. It was a carefully planned exhibiation to show here in a positive light.
For those of you who haven't read th people magazine article, It's worth a read. It talks about how she values Richie, how she respects him, and how the divorce was mutually agreed upon. It's sickening. She's sickening.
people magazine is well respected, I'm surprised they even ran this article in light of her behivior over the past months.
We all know there's more to it..but in the end it's Richie's personal business and if you care about him, then HUSH! Um no, I'm sound of mind. I just realized that maybe I should stop and think how I'd feel if I were in his shoes. I never bashed Richie, ever! I said he could do better musically-that's not bashing him or his band. I did bash Heather because I don't think what she did was cool. Unfortunately we speak our mind and we can't remove our posts later but read them and say, "maybe I should've kept my damn mouth shut"? I still feel the same as I did in previous posts-just realize that if I'm truly a fan of this guy, I should remember this is already a difficult time and stay quiet. Why did I know that my blog would come back to haunt me?? I'm so glad I deleted it. Thanx for the well wishes. I haven't lost my mind-just wanted to do the right thing.
