Get ready for The Cougar

Meet Stacy Anderson, TV Land's new cougar. She will star in a new reality show called, of course, The Cougar. Anderson will look for love among a group of hot, excited twenty-something bachelors.

Anderson is a 40-year-old realtor from Scottsdale, Arizona. "Stacey Anderson's vivacious personality, stunning looks and incredible heart make her the perfect choice as our 'Cougar'. She is sure to break all the stereotypes people hold about 'cougars,'" says Larry W. Jones, president of TV Land.

For years, Stacey has believed that society has placed a double standard on women who date younger men, and she is here to prove that age is nothing but a number. Stacey's dating experiences have led her to believe that men her age and older live under the pressure of a "ticking clock," which dampens their spontaneity and zest for life. Essential to Stacey’s personal success is her upbeat optimism and zeal, which have not been tainted by life's adversities. She believes that younger men have the same spirited zest for life, a demeanor Stacey finds crucial for her future love interest to possess, a love interest that she plans to find on "The Cougar."

Vivica Fox will host the series premiering on April 15th at 10:00 pm ET/PT on TV Land PRIME.

Lily Allen is scared of flapping pigeons

Lily Allen admits, "I Google myself about ten times a day and that's the truth." Damn girl. So that's how she keeps up with all of the tabloid reports. "They bother me if they're inaccurate in which case I sue...In which case it doesn't bother me because I make money out of it!" So they bother her, but they don't bother her. Whatever Google junkie.

Allen's single "The Fear" is at the top of the UK charts right now. What are Allen's fears? "Probably dying alone...and pigeons maybe...I just don't like when you walk near them and they fly towards you..and they flap their wings fast."

What's next on her agenda? "I guess get married and have children. That's probably on my list to do before I die." Oh, and she wouldn't mind getting naked, "I'm just very comfortable in my body. I wouldn't do it in a 'Hey-Look-At-My-Boobs kind of way." Maybe just in a hey-look-at-me-I'm-a-slut kind of way?

Extra's full interview with Lily Allen airs tonight....

Halle Berry...jewel thief!

Word is Halle Berry has signed on to play a diamond thief in Who Is Doris Payne. The flick is based on a true story about a woman who committed international diamond robberies for over five decades. Payne hit spots from Tiffany's of New York to Cartier of Monte Carlo.

"She never carried a weapon and relied on her smooth talk to rob high-end stores. She would go into a store, chat to staff before asking to see a ring. When the jewelery was handed over to her, she would simply walk out of the store wearing it." Easy breezy! Payne was arrested in 2005 and served a two-year sentence that finally ended her fancy crime spree. Doris Payne is alive and well at the age of 77. "I had lots of fun," Payne said. "I did."

The movie will be produced by Justin Berfield and Jason Felts from a script penned by Euenetta Boone.

Coming soon

Robin Williams: "Can I be on 24? I would play a technical adviser. Anything."

Kiefer Sutherland (on Robin Williams): "Wow...it would be an honor. You're talking about an Academy Award-winning actor with no lack of energy, which is what we require...Robin would be an innocent computer analyst who stumbles onto something cryptic he doesn't know he has and becomes a target. Jack Bauer, the government and the bad guys are all looking for this guy, who is scared to death and running for his life."

Duff on Dunaway...she's old

Last week, word spread that Hilary Duff will play Faye Dunaway's legendary role as Bonnie in the indie remake of The Story of Bonnie and Clyde. Dunaway isn't too keen on the idea..."Couldn't they have at least cast a real actress?" Dunaway said. Ouch.

Duff replied, "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who she is, so you know....I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too." Mee-OW.
