Goodbye Shelley Winters

Shelley Winters died of heart failure early yesterday at The Rehabilitation Centre of Beverly Hills, her publicist said. She had been hospitalized in October after suffering a heart attack.

Winters worked well into her 70's, if you remember she had a recurring role as Roseanne's grandmother on the 90's show "Roseanne."

"I am so sad. She was a great person and a genius to work with," Roseanne Barr said in a statement. "We will all miss her."

Longtime friend and actress Connie Stevens said, "Shelley was an idol of mine — and many an extraordinary woman with powerful charisma, enormous talent and a keen, perceptive mind." Take a minute and browse all of her work... Thank you Shelley.
