Prince Harry fighting in Afghanistan
The UK Ministry of Defense has confirmed Prince Harry is on patrol in the deserted town of Garmisir, Afghanistan. Fellow soldiers were sworn to secrecy when he was deployed 10 weeks ago.
Prince Harry is a member of the Joint Tactical Air Control, or JTAC. "As far as I'm concerned I'm out here as a normal JTAC on the ground and not as Prince Harry" he said.
"At the end of the day I like to sort of be a normal person, and for once I think this is about as normal as I'm ever going to get," Harry told CNN. "If I'm wanted, if I'm needed, then I will serve my country as I signed up to do."

After the mouth rumors, Carmen Electra's rep says that she did indeed have her lip tattooed. Carm wanted a tribute to her mother Patricia, who passed in 1998. LA tattoo artist Mark Mahoney inked her mother's initials inside Carmen's lower lip.
What else? Carmen is all out and happy with her new man Korn guitarist Rob Patterson. They were skipping all over Berlin together earlier this month, while Rob was on tour with the band.

Pregnant Angelina Jolie collapsed on her 18 hour flight home from Iraq last week. Life & Style says that Angie was given oxygen and treated by medics, before she was given the okay.
A source claims, "She started to get swollen ankles and nosebleeds and started having leg cramps. She fainted in her seat." Nice visual.
They say Jolie was offered the chance to stop the plane so she could get off, but she insisted on staying on board.

Martha Stewart buys Emeril
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. has announced they bought the rights to the Emeril Lagasse Empire- the franchise of cookbooks, television shows and kitchen products- for $45 million in cash and $5 million in stock at closing.
They didn't bother with "Emeril's Homebase, which includes Lagasse's 11 restaurants and corporate office."
Martha Stewart Living said "the deal will contribute immediately to our performance," adding $8 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. The acquired assets generated $14 million in revenue in 2007.
Martha Stewart Living expects the deal to close in the second quarter. The final price could rise to up to $70 million if certain benchmarks are achieved.

The new Bachelor
Season 12 of The Bachelor starts up on March 17. ABC went with their first international "gentleman" this time around, Matt Grant, a global financier from London.
According to ABC, Grant is "totally charming and a witty English gentleman who works with millionaire businessmen, but he has something on his mind that is more urgent than any business deal - he wants to find the love of his life and to start a family as soon as possible."
Grant will choose from 25 "beautiful" American women. "I don't think there's a massive chasm between British guys and American guys. We drink more tea and have some crazy sports like cricket. I like to consider myself a British gentleman," Grant told OK! "American women are much more sporty than British women. I love their flirty side... I'm a single guy, I'm a red-blooded male. Kathleen Turner issued an apology to Nic Cage soon after her mean comments started to surface from her new autobiography. She accused him of drunk driving and even theft in her book. Don't forget the "fake teeth."
Cage filed libel proceedings saying her book was full of lies about him. What was she thinking? In the book, Turner claims Cage "went to great lengths to disobey his director uncle Francis Ford Coppola on the set of their 1986 movie saying he found himself in trouble with police while filming."
She babbles on that she meant no harm. Hmmm. Maybe someone should make up lies about her, then shrug it off. "Sorry Kath, I'm kidding! Just wanted to hurt your career/feelings." Turner said, "I guess what I can say is I'm truly sorry if I caused distress or harm, because one thing is for sure - I never, ever intended to do that. This is what I remember, these are my thoughts and they were certainly not intended to damage anyone else." Right.

The LA Times reports that Britney Spears has been released from UCLA Medical Center. Well, the streets were safe for a couple of days. Poor LA.
A law enforcement source told TMZ the hospital let her go "because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 AM."
