A source tells People that Eva and Tony Parker have called it quits. "They did break up. It's amicable," the source says, adding, "They are talking and trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying to work things out."
"It's distance and demanding careers and not living in same city," said the source. "It didn't happen yesterday. It's been going on for a while."
Longoria's rep said, "Eva and Tony are going through a very difficult time right now, just like any other couple with extremely demanding careers." In other words, they are sick of each other and want to see what else is out there....stay tuned

What about my pancreas?!

Esquire has named Scarlett Johansson "Sexiest Woman Alive." The sizzling November issue hits stands Oct. 18. She's on the cover wearing a bra and a white Calvin Klein mini-dress.
Johansson said she would rather be admired for attributes other than sex appeal. "What about my brain? What about my heart? What about my kidneys and my gallbladder?" she said, addressing all the hype about her curves in an interview in the magazine. Don't you know it's what's on the outside that counts?

A fresh, new Bachelor

Time for a prince to find his princess. The new season of ABC's The Bachelor kicks off on October 2. Prince Lorenzo Borghese, 34, is looking for a "sincere" girl.
"I have to be able to trust her with everything in my life. And I have to have a good time with her. I'm looking for someone who is caring, funny, active and enjoys life as much as I do," Lorenzo said.
The show is filmed in Rome at Villa Mondragone in Frascati. The home was once the summer residence of his ancestors, Prince Camillo Borghese and his wife Princess Paulina Bonaparte- the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte.
"Visiting the house and seeing my forefathers portrayed in paintings is incredible," he said. "There's such a strong connection here- and I couldn't think of a better place to find love."

Anna Nicole weds Howard K. Stern

Anna Nicole Smith married her long-time attorney Howard K. Stern yesterday in Nassau, Bahamas.
In a world-exclusive report, an eyewitness tells Star that Anna, 38, and Howard, 37, tied the knot at 10:30 am on the morning of September 28, on a 50-foot catamaran anchored off Blackbeard's Cay in Nassau. "There was heavy security around the yacht, plus extra speedboats to deliver more supplies as needed (including unlimited Dom Perignon champagne) from the island to the catamaran," says the eyewitness, who adds that the wedding party celebrated the union afterwards by having a swim party around the yacht — "and Anna was wearing a pink bikini!"

T-Mobile and Catherine Zeta no more

Word is T Mobile will not be renewing Catherine's contract. Zeta has appeared in ad campaigns for T Mobile since signing a multi-million dollar contract in 2003, also taking the role as their spokesperson.
T-Mobile claims to want a more down to earth, "man on the street" persona to push their upcoming range of internet phone products. T-Mobile spokesman Peter Dobrow says, "When Catherine Zeta-Jones agreed to be our spokesperson four years ago, we could never have imagined the cache appeal she would have brought to T-Mobile. Her style, credibility and integrity have been a tremendous benefit for our company and our brand. We could not have asked for a better partner in launching T-Mobile than Catherine Zeta-Jones."

Wanted: Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell failed to appear for her hearing at Manhattan Criminal Court yesterday and she has been warned she faces arrest if she fails to appear in court next month.
Campbell was due in court to face accusations she threw a mobile phone at her housekeeper's head in January. Her lawyer, David Breitbart, claimed her absence was "not due to professional reasons," but refused to divulge further information.
The case has been adjourned until November 15. Judge James Gibbons told the jury, "I want to make it clear that she is absolutely obliged to appear at the next hearing. If she fails to appear on that court date, the warrant will go into effect." Yeah, yeah....like she cares

Harry Morton has dumped Lindsay Lohan days after her publicists denied break-up reports were true. Poor thing
Morton and Lohan were said to have split after a fight at a club in LA last week and, despite publicists' desperate efforts to kill the story over the weekend, Morton has now confirmed he's no longer dating the actress/singer.
Morton told Extra, "We're just sort of taking a little breather right now and slowing things down. A lot of people started saying we're engaged and it put a lot of pressure on things. We need a little space... I'm a very private person. I'm sure she has dealt with it for years but it puts a lot of pressure on me."

PETA crashes Cavalli show

Five anti-fur protesters stormed Roberto Cavalli's fashion show today in Milan, unrolling posters saying "Cavalli = cruelty" on the catwalk before they were dragged away by security staff.
Cavalli's sports-themed show for his Just Cavalli label had opened with a live brass band dancing on a mock football pitch, followed by models in broad-shouldered cropped jackets and thigh-skimming dresses to a backdrop of electronic score boards.
Amid the colorful parade, it took security a while to realize the animal rights activists were not part of the show.
"Sadly there are always people who disturb those who work, what can I do? I could impose stricter security controls but I don't think that'll make a difference," Cavalli told reporters afterwards, adding that he loved animals.

Anna Nicole's attorney is new baby's father

Howard K. Stern, the lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith, said yesterday that he's the "proud father" of her baby girl, who was born just days before her son Daniel died in the Bahamas.
Stern told CNN's Larry King that the newborn, named Dannie Lynn Hope, has been Smith's "one ray of hope" following the tragedy. The child, he said, is "the one thing that is really keeping her going. And through it all, even with all the pain, she has been a great mom, a very attentive mom."
On his relationship with Smith, Stern said, "We love each other and it's been going on for a very long time and because of my relationship as her lawyer, we felt it was best to keep everything hidden. And we've done a pretty good job of that."
When King asked Stern if he planned to marry Smith, he replied, "I've loved her for quite some time and hopefully the feeling's mutual. At some point, we will. Right now we have to somehow get through what we're going through."

Martha Stewart wants Eminem

Martha said she would just love to have Eminem visit her show, "We play his music during breaks to keep people very lively and they love him."
"I would really love to have Eminem on the show. I don't think he knows that my demographic audience is so involved in Eminem music." Why, no...I bet he doesn't!
Stewart said she's not perfect at everything. "I can't pick up a guitar and play a fantastic song. ... I cannot sit down at a piano and do that," she said. "I'm happy about my knowledge in so many different subjects relating to living, but in terms of specifics, I don't know if I'd be really very good on The Young and the Restless." What? Let us know when the jam with Em is scheduled...

Tyler told the New York Daily News, "It is nonexistent in my bloodstream, where it's like a complete cure. I've had hepatitis C for a long time, asymptomatic. I've been pretty quiet about this. The band took a break about three years ago. (My doctor) said now is the time, and it's 11 months of chemotherapy (interferon) so I went on that, and it about killed me. Hepatitis C is the one that, of all the people in this room, at least three have it and don't know it. It's the silent killer. I may go on Oprah and talk about this."

Madonna explains her crucifixion

Madonna has released a statement explaining the "idea" behind her worn out controversy. She says, "I am very grateful that my show was so well received all over the world. But there seems to be many misinterpretations about my appearance on the cross and I wanted to explain it myself once and for all. There is a segment in my show where three of my dancers 'confess' or share harrowing experiences from their childhood that they ultimately overcame. My 'confession' follows and takes place on a crucifix that I ultimately come down from. This is not a mocking of the church. It is no different than a person wearing a cross or 'taking up the cross' as it says in the Bible. My performance is neither anti-Christian, sacrilegious or blasphemous. Rather, it is my plea to the audience to encourage mankind to help one another and to see the world as a unified whole. I believe in my heart that if Jesus were alive today he would be doing the same thing."
She concludes, "Please do not pass judgment without seeing my show."

"Paris flirted with Harry every chance she got. When he talked to someone else, it looked like she would randomly spark up a conversation just to get his attention. And every so often, she'd do a dance right in front of him."

Vibe kicks Aguilera to the curb

Bobby Brown will be on the cover of Vibe Magazine in October....instead of Christina Aguilera. She gave an interview and even did a photo shoot for the mag promoting her new album.
New owners took over the magazine and ditched Christina's piece. Wow, genius. "Relations between Vibe and Aguilera worsened when the magazine planned to put the sexy photos of the diva on its website but not in the print version."
Aguilera's manager says it's a breach of contract. Her rep said, "When there's a change at a magazine, you understand that there might be a new direction. But Christina is completely within the scope of the magazine - she is very relevant to Vibe's readers, and we would still like them to honor their commitment. We want them to give us back our cover!"
The magazine's new editor Danyel Smith told the New York Daily News, "I can't speak on the previous administration and what they did promise or didn't promise. But there was never an article to put anywhere. There was never a written piece. We had considered putting the photos online and then decided against it." Yeah. Good luck with all that.

Fonda wants to put Lohan in a cocoon

Jane Fonda agrees with James G. Robinson, the CEO of Morgan Creek who sent Lohan "the letter" while filming Georgia Rule.
He said, "We are well aware that your ongoing all-night, heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called exhaustion."
Fonda, who also stars in Georgia Rule, hopes Lohan has learned her lesson: "I think every once in a while a very, very young person who is burning both ends of the candle needs to have somebody say, 'You know you're going to pay the piper - you better slow down.' So I think it was good. She's in the magazines, so you always know what she's doing because you can just read about it in the tabloids. She parties all the time... And you know, she's young and she can get away with it. But, you know, it's hard after a while to party very hard and work very hard. I want to say to her, 'This is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. If you blow it, you don't get a second chance.'"
Jane said she wishes she "could wrap Lohan in cotton wool until she is emotionally mature enough to cope with the pressures and temptations which surround her." She added, "I just want to take her in my arms and hold her until she becomes grown-up. She's so young and she's so alone out there in the world in terms of structure and, you know, people to nurture her. And she's so talented. Oh my gosh she can access emotion like nothing. And she just makes me cry. She made me cry a lot and when she was on the set she was really good, it's going to be a good movie."

We remember

We mourn their loss this day this year
Those now with God, no danger near
So many loved ones left do stand
Confronting loss throughout our land
My heart goes out to those who do
No one can fathom what they view
I firmly pray for peace of mind
Dear God please help each one to find
And to our soldiers now at war
God guide above, at sea, on shore
They are the best, I have no doubt
Our country’s pride, complete, devout
The finest force you’ll ever see
All freedom grown through liberty
One final thought comes clear to me
For what must live in infamy
Absolutely - We’ll Remember

Paris Hilton arrested

Dude? Is that Paris Hilton? Book her! TMZ reports that Hilton was arrested in Hollywood early this morning and charged with driving under the influence.
LAPD officers noticed Paris driving erratically at 12:31 AM and stopped her. They believed she exhibited signs of intoxication. She failed the sobriety test- Paris was arrested and was taken to the LAPD Hollywood division, where she was booked.
The officers who stopped the car did not know it was Paris Hilton until they approached the vehicle. Police sources say she was cooperative.
Nicky Hilton, her boyfriend, Kevin Connolly and her publicist Elliot Mintz arrived at the Hollywood police station shortly. If convicted, Paris will not be jailed and will be placed on 3 years' probation and ordered to be on an alcohol program and will have her license restricted for 90 days.

Simspon still single

John Mayer reportedly kicked Simpson to the curb after "members of her entourage leaked intimate details of their relationship to the media." Simpson appeared on the cover of People last week with the headline, "I'm In Love."
Mayer "was reportedly shocked when private details of his relationship with Simpson were printed in the press and has since cut off any contact." Mayer posted a message on his official website saying, "Don't believe the hype!"
On Tuesday, Simpson said on The View, "I'm actually not dating John Mayer. He's my friend." A source told US Weekly the relationship was "about a 2", but Simpson and pals thought it was "an 11"....quite a difference there
The source says Mayer has lost respect for Simpson and "now he will stay away from her. He thinks it's desperate. An attempt for her to stay in the spotlight. It's very clear to John who was pushing this story. And it's also very clear to him that Jessica is under a lot of pressure to sell an album." Ouch. Team Simpson says, "She met a guy who was scared away by all the attention."

The new Viva Glam girls

Lisa Marie Presley, Debbie Harry, Eve and Dita Von Teese are the new celeb models in MAC Cosmetics' Viva Glam ad campaign.
100 percent of the sales of Viva Glam lipsticks and lip glosses are donated to HIV and AIDS programs, including treatment, education and daily necessities.
"MAC is actually, honestly, really true blue about its charity," Presley said. "You can see it making headway. They've raised $70 million that's been used incredibly well. It's not a campaign full of fluff, and I'm not a fluff person."
"I think we're all reaching out in a different direction -- whoever can reach a certain segment of the audience," she said.
Her target? "Based on my fan base, it's 80 percent gay, young girls, bikers, women my age and then some occasional Elvis fans. It's an eclectic potpourri," she said. "If I go to a signing or show, it's a rainbow."

Zhang happens

Zhang Ziyi wore the same "polka-dot dress that actress Xu Jinglei wore two months ago" while promoting her movie at The Venice Film Festival last week.
"Zhang Ziyi, who occasionally fumbles her wardrobe, wore the same outfit that Xu Jinglei wore at a press conference earlier. What a big strategic mistake," claims the Oriental Daily News.
Xu wore the Armani dress to a press conference in Hong Kong back in July to promote the upcoming Confession of Pain
"Zhang Ziyi wears Xu Jinglei's old dress!" said the headline. The paper also ran a photo of Zhang chatting with Zhou Xun (above left), a fellow actress from her new movie The Banquet, inserting dialogue that quotes Zhou as saying, "Poor you, wearing someone's old dress." Harsh!

Weisz movie booed in Venice

Rachel Weisz "was stunned" when her new movie The Fountain was booed at its premiere at the Venice Film Festival yesterday.
The film, directed by her fiance Darren Aronofsky, left the audience confused and disappointed. The $35 million film was snubbed repeatedly by movie studios until Warner Brothers decided to back it.
The story spans 1,000 years and stars Hugh Jackman as a 16th century Spanish explorer, 21st century scientist and 26th century astronaut searching for the Fountain of Youth. Weisz said, "I think it's wonderful that this film is so different. I would love to work with Darren again."

Don't believe the hype

On it's recent cover, In Touch reports that Angelina has a "new baby bump"... only 3 months after having baby Shiloh. Could it possibly be the post bump? Brad Pitt's rep had a simple reply to the magazines claim: "It's so stupid. That magazine is a joke."

Crocodile Hunter...Steve Irwin dies

Steve Irwin was killed by a stingray barb through the heart while filming a new documentary on Monday. He died from "an extremely rare attack by a normally placid sea creature while he was diving on a reef off Port Douglas in northern Queensland filiming a documentary."
"He came over the top of a stingray and the stingray's barb went up and went into his chest and put a hole into his heart," Irwin's shocked manager John Stainton told reporters in Cairns.
A helicopter rushed paramedics to nearby Low Isles where Irwin was taken for treatment, but he was dead before they arrived, emergency officials said.
"It became clear fairly soon that he had non-survivable injuries," Dr. Ed O'Loughlin, who treated Irwin, told Nine Network television.
"He had a penetrating injury to the left front of his chest. He had lost his pulse and wasn't breathing," he said.
Irwin's death was likely only the third recorded fatal stingray attack in Australia, experts said. Irwin was 44. Prayers for his family, so very sad.

Mos Def arrested at VMA's

Mos Def was taken into custody last night and charged with disorderly conduct outside of Radio City Music Hall. Def rolled up in a "flatbed truck" for an impromptu freestyle about Hurricane Katrina and George Bush for the people gathered outside.
Officers asked Mos Def and members of his entourage to shut down their performance due to crowd conditions and safety issues.
Police let him perform because Def said he had a permit. Minutes later, more police approached and said to stop immediately. Def didn't hear them (pun intended) so they started to arrest people, including Def's brother.
Def's publicist said, "Mos Def was unjustly arrested tonight while performing on a flatbed track in New York City outside the Video Music Awards. Mos Def was not out to break any laws. His only goal was to heighten the awareness of a serious situation that still exists in our country. He does not want people to forget that although it's one year later, the people and cities hit by the hurricane still need the help of the American people."
The Def camp say "they have the entire ordeal on tape and will publish the video, possibly on a Web site, to shed light on their side of the confrontation." Def was released this morning

Will Lohan wear white to her wedding?

Word is Lindsay's boyfriend Harry Morton was checking out engagement rings for the Lohan at Cartier in Beverly Hills. His "aides have confirmed he did in fact buy something special there."
Morton's rep says, "I can confirm that Harry was shopping in Cartier, but what he purchased I cannot confirm. If it was in fact a gift then that's between him and whomever the gift is for." Dog tags?
Update: Lohan's mom tells Star that Lindsay is definitely not engaged
