Annie Lennox disses Orlando Bloom

Annie Lennox reportedly snubbed Orlando Bloom because she thought he was an obsessed fan. Lennox was at a screening of Woody Allen film, 'Annie Hall', in London when Orlando asked for her autograph.

She allegedly said, "I just want a quiet night. Please leave me alone and get a life." Gasp!

A source said, "It was like watching a car crash unfold. Nobody could understand why she was being so rude to Orlando of all people."

"It was difficult to believe she didn't know who he was. He's been in almost every blockbuster this year. But it turns out she genuinely thought he was an unusually good-looking fan. She must have been living under a rock for the past few years."

Annie was said to be horrified when she realized her embarrassing mistake, and rushed over to apologize.

After clearing up the misunderstanding, the star gave Orlando an autograph and he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. A source said, "She was bright red when he smooched her."

Yeah, if this story is true, who cares if she didn't realize who Orlando was. She should be glad she has any fans at all.

Seriously, I've interacted with Annie Lennox a handful of times, (she loved a lot of furniture in a store I worked at) and she is one of the nicest, most down-to-earth celebrities I've ever met. Even if she told him "no autographs" I highly doubt she told him to get a life. And besides, she made it up to him. He's probably had to do the same thing to all his crazy fans.

so... ummm... could someone tell me... who IS Orlando Bloom?

She gave me her autograph, and I was just a 13-year-old loser stalking her on the streets of Rio. She talked to me and was very nice. So I'm not buying that she was rude.

It's so not true. She sang the song for the last "Lord of the Rings" movie and sat with Orlanda and company at the Oscars. They won every category including "Best Song" and celebrated together.
