Jessica Simpson is getting some Dane Cook again. The two were spotted at LA's Roosevelt Hotel on July 5.
A lurker told Life & Style the usual, "They were cuddling and holding hands a lot of the night. He had his arm around her, and she was all snuggled up to him."
They messed around for a couple of hours drinking beer and laughing out loud. "He kept her laughing the whole time. You can tell that's her weak spot-she loves to laugh."
Breezy Scarlett Jo...turned down by NYC eatery
Johansson was in NYC with some friends a couple of weeks ago when she tried to get a table at the Spotted Pig restaurant. Apparently she was dressed kind of like the above photo.
Staff failed to recognize her and claimed there were no tables available. "She had on a plaid dress and black framed glasses," a spectator said. You know....Scar's New York attire.
After she left the restaurant, someone finally figured out who they had just turned down. "An employee was sent scurrying after Scarlett to tell her that a table miraculously became available." Scar and her pals went back and stuffed their guts enjoyed a pleasant meal.

Rowland passes out on stage
People reports that Kelly Rowland collapsed on stage yesterday while performing in Nigeria. Her rep said it was due to "dehydration."
All is good now, Rowland was taken to a hospital and was reported to be in "good condition."

David Beckham's wife insults Hollywood women
Just a few days after hitting America, Victoria Beckham is already commenting on the way "Hollywood women" dress....
In an interview with the LA Times she said, "They dress down quite a lot here, don't they? It seems to be in keeping to go to Starbucks in tracksuit bottoms and Ugg boots."
The old pop star said, "I have one pair of tracksuit bottoms for non-photographic opportunities only. Underground car parks are fine, but aside from that, no." Oh God. Lady, we just want your HUSBAND.

I hate Ugly Betty!
According to In Touch, Jaime Pressly thinks Ugly Betty is a joke. "It bores the hell out of me. I can't stand it," she said. "They're purposefully big-upping the ugly fat girl to make everybody feel great, but it also glamorizes the fact that people are getting plastic surgery because they can. It's really bizarre."
ABC reps had no comment regarding her outburst. Ugly Betty gets almost double the ratings as Jaime's show My Name is Earl.
It's official: Brit has been replaced
Federline has finally passed up Shar and Britney. His new woman is known as "Lucious Liz," a hip-hop radio DJ in Los Angeles.
K Fed met her about a year ago when he was on her show. You know, when he was asked "Who is better in bed- Shar or Britney?" Word is the two started to talk when she announced that her marriage was over.
"Liz is trying to keep quiet because she doesn't want it to get around work, but Kevin can't help but brag out his conquest to his friends and family."

"A Year With Stuffy"
The BBC is apologizing for a promotional trailer they aired yesterday from the upcoming documentary "A Year With the Queen."
Famous photographer Annie Leibovitz asked Queen Elizabeth II to remove her crown during an official portrait session.
During the shoot, Leibovitz asked the Queen to wear Order of the Garter robes and a diamond tiara, but changed her mind and asked, "I think it will look better without the crown. Less dressy. The garment robe is so ... extraordinary."
The Queen snapped, "Less dressy? What do you think this is?" She then left the room, reportedly grumbling, "I'm not changing anything. I've had enough of dressing like this, thank you very much." Eyeroll.
Four official portraits of the Queen were eventually released by Leibovitz.

Paula tightens up for new boyfriend
Paula Abdul is preparing her bod for her new boyfriend, restaurateur J. T. Torregiani. According to Star, she has a "high tech" secret weapon!
An insider said, "Paula's been getting an allover body procedure called the Titan laser treatment, which tightens up and smoothes out sagging skin to give a more youthful appearance. She's been getting the procedure at the L.A. Laser Center, a chic cosmetic surgery clinic in the San Fernando Valley, and has had at least five Titan treatments in the past. The last time she went in was several months ago – and the results were absolutely amazing!"
The Titan procedure uses an infrared optical light source that heats up the skin’s collagen, causing it to shrink and tighten. It allows patients to obtain a non-surgical face-lift or tummy tuck, with minimal pain and no downtime, for a fraction of the cost of plastic surgery. Prices per session range from $1,250 for the face to $1,500 for the stomach.
"Paula has had Titan treatments on her abdomen, thighs, neck and arms, as well as on her face," the hidden source said. "Each of her treatments lasts about an hour and a half. These procedures don't always work for everyone – but they make Paula glow!"

Pink has declined to write a song for Britney Spears. She says that poor Brit is an entertainer, not a real singer. Hey-ohhh!

Alec Baldwin is asking fans to boycott a movie he made six years ago that will be released Friday.
Baldwin directed, produced and acted in The Devil And Daniel Webster back in 2001. Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Dan Aykroyd all star in the film, but it was never released.
The film has been re-edited, renamed Shortcut To Happiness, and Baldwin's name has been removed from the directing credits - replaced by pseudonym Harry Kirkpatrick. Oh, that's funny.
It will be released in six cities in the U.S. on July 13. Baldwin is pleading to fans not to watch the film - saying it is unrecognizable. A source told PageSix, "Alec doesn't recommend unrecognizable films to his fans. This is not an Alec Baldwin film. He's in the movie but he has nothing to do with it. His name was taken off as producer and director six years ago, but he couldn't get it taken off as an actor."

Diddy leaves his girlfriend
People reports that it's over and out between Diddy and his girl of 10 years, Kim Porter. Porter says she has moved out of the apartment she shared with Combs, and into a new home in Los Angeles with her children.
A rep for Diddy denied that Sienna Miller had anything to do with the split. "There is literally nothing between them," his rep said last week. Porter and Diddy are parents to son Christian, 9, and twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James, born Dec. 21.
Combs told Essence back in December that he had no plans to marry Porter. "I know she deserves to get married, but I'm just not ready," he said. "It's not a reflection on how much I love Kim. It's that I'm just learning how to be a good boyfriend. When I'm finished with this step, I'll move on to the next."

According to MOJO mag, Sting ditched the cocaine back in the early 80's because it clogged his nose holes.

Beyonce Knowles visited a St. Louis, Missouri hospital immediately after her concert on Sunday night - to check up on fans injured during her performance.
Two fans in the front row suffered minor injuries due to a pyrotechnics malfunction at the beginning of her act. Beyonce made an unannounced visit to the hospital, where she spent 45 minutes with the injured pair. Hope she didn't wear her roboho costume!
Head nurse Darryl Williams said, "She was just very concerned about the people injured in the audience. It was unannounced and we kept it very low-key so that she could spend time with them. I just thought it was a great thing for someone of her stature to do."

Katie Couric bitch slaps editor over sputum
According to nymag.com, Katie Couric slapped an editor after he added a word to the script that she didn't like...at all.
"The stress has caused her to blow up at her staff for small infractions on the set," says reporter Joe Hagan.
"During the tuberculosis story in June, Couric got angry with news editor Jerry Cipriano for using a word she detested— 'sputum' —and the staff grew tense when she began slapping him 'over and over and over again' on the arm, according to a source familiar with the scene. It had seemed like a joke at first, but it quickly became clear that she wasn't kidding."
"I sort of slapped him around," Couric said. "I got mad at him and said, 'You can’t do this to me. You have to tell me when you're going to use a word like that.' I was aggravated, there's no question about that." An insider on the set calls the slap "playful."

J. K. Rowling talks about the end of Potter
J.K. Rowling says that she broke down and bawled during the completion of her final book in the Harry Potter series.
"When I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled," Rowling said. "I was sobbing my heart out, I was in a hotel room on my own. I downed half a bottle of champagne from the mini bar in one and went home with mascara all over my face. That was really tough."
Rowling revealed that she would kill off at least two of the main characters. She also revealed that the character Harry Potter was "totally imaginary" and not based on anyone. "Finishing the book is a relief," she says. "I can feel more relaxed. I felt euphoria, devastated, when I finished one chapter near the end."
The Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final book of the Harry Potter series. More than 325 million copies of the first six books have been sold worldwide, making Rowling the first "billionaire" author.
The author also divulges her inspiration for the main characters. Hermione Granger is a bit like her younger self ("I was quite swotty [nerdy] when I was a kid") and Ron Weasley is "a lot like my oldest friend Sean."
When asked whether the word "scar" was still the last word in the book, as had been reported, she said: "Scar? It was for ages, and now it's not. Scar is quite near the end, but it's not the last word."
The Deathly Hallows hits shelves on July 21 and 1.6 million copies have already been pre-ordered online.

Michael Jackson....starting a new life on the East Coast
Word is Michael Jackson is looking for a "holiday home" on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Finally. A place where he will fit right in.
Raymone Bain, a rep for Jackson said that Michael was indeed looking at waterfront mansions in Maryland last month. Bain said Jackson spent a whole 24 hours on the peninsula, but has yet to make a purchase.
Jackson apparently wants an East Coast home because "the majority of his advisers and attorneys are on the East Coast. He's always admired the properties on the East Coast because they have a lot of land. Neverland has 3,000 acres - he likes privacy. You can't find as many properties like that on the West Coast."

Ethan Hawke is preparing for his new vampire role by growing out his hair. He will star in Daybreakers, a futuristic film packed with gore and creepiness. Willem Dafoe also stars in the movie, which will be shot in Australia.
Ethan said, "I'm going to make a vampire picture and I'm going to chew on some necks. Willem Dafoe and I are dulling vampires. It's a vampire movie set way in the future where everyone is a vampire and we're all eating our own resources, so we're trying to get off on foreign humans. We're trying to get off of trying to create blood substitutes. It's a big analogy about what's going on now. It's really dark and weird and everybody's sucking each other's blood."

Quite a few of you brilliant, attractive readers of Gabsmash have a lot to say about the Tracy Anderson workout post tacked a couple of months ago.
It is soo worthwhile to read what some of her "anonymous" clients have to say, and boy, do they have a lot to say. Someone needs to step up. Very interesting indeed.
"I was a client of Tracy Anderson Studios in Fishers also. Her program does work, but don't believe everything that you hear about Tracy and her business. It is true that she did leave her clients in Fishers overnight...just took the machines and our money and left. She claims to have been a student at the Julliard School of Dance, but come to find out she was there for only 3 months and then left." Anon

John Travolta said that if it weren't for the lovely Princess Diana, he would have been drop kicked a long time ago. After dancing with Diana at the famous White House dinner back in 1985- thrown by the Reagans, he claims he was brought back to life.
