"Bosom Buddies" star dies



Wendie Jo Sperber, from the show Bosom Buddies has passed away after losing her battle with breast cancer, she was in her 40's.


Tom Hanks said in a statement, "The memory of Wendie Jo is that of a walking inspiration. She met the challenges of her illness with love, cheer, joy and altruism. We are going to miss her as surely as we are all better for knowing her."

wendy jo sperber co-starred in the Fox first-season comedy "Women In Prison" and HBO 80's late-night mainstay "Stewardess School", two of my favorites as a horny youngster.

rest in peace, Mary Jo Sperber. Although you always played the fat friend, you were the best fat friend in the business.

I used to love watching Bosom Buddies. I think she was also in that great movie "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" about some teenagers wanting to see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan...
