The scoop on Nick's chick
Nick Lachey has been dating stylist Kim Kardashian for the past month. They have been seen out clubbing and going to the movies together. Serious!
"They're sweet on each other," a source told People. "It's the beginning stages of a relationship."
Both have had failed marriages. Kardashian, whose father is the late O.J. Simpson trial attorney Robert Kardashian, divorced music producer Damon Thomas in 2004.
"Part of the attraction is they have both gone through similar life situations," says the source. "They developed a bond."

Crowe told to get lost
Russell Crowe has reportedly been "dumped" from director Baz Luhrmann's new $150 million film in favor of Heath Ledger.
Crowe was set to play Nicole Kidman's lover in the film set around the Japanese bombing of Darwin, Australia, in 1942.
Crowe has been accused of demanding script approval before signing on for the film. While Crowe was procrastinating, the film's producers reportedly told Luhrmann to find another actor. The director then met with Ledger several times. A source tells the New York Post, "Baz liked him and offered him the movie. Then Crowe came back to Luhrmann and said he'd forgo the script approval and wanted to do the film, but they told him it was too late - to buzz off."

Spelling is with child
After their rushed wedding in Fiji, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are now telling folks, "We are trying for a baby!"
Trying? Sources say that she is pre-Fiji pregnant. She has been seen shopping at baby stores and patting her stomach. You know what that means. While waiting for their luggage at LAX the two "repeatedly rubbed and patted Tori's noticeably swollen belly." An insider told Life & Style Tori celebrated her pregnancy along with her birthday in early May.

Costner soon single
No surprise here. Kevin Costner's poor wife of less than two years, Christine Baumgartner has dumped him. It may have had something to do with him being named as the perv from a honeymoon massage gone freaky. You think?
A source told US, "Christine is furious about the charges and they are living separately. Costner told her he would do anything and would go to sex therapy." Apparently Christine doesn't believe him. Smart girl. Of course Costner's rep denies it all.

Ice Cube calls out The O
First Ludacris, then 50 cent... Now, it's Ice Cube's turn. What is Oprah's deal?
"I've been involved in three projects pitched to her, but I've never been asked to participate," Ice Cube tells FHM magazine in its July issue.
"For 'Barbershop,' Oprah had Cedric the Entertainer and Eve on, but I wasn't invited," Ice Cube said. "Maybe she's got a problem with hip-hop. She's had damn rapists, child molesters and lying authors on her show. And if I'm not a rags-to-riches story for her, who is?"
Earlier this month on a NYC radio station Winfrey said she likes her hip-hop. "I listen to some hip-hop," she said. "You know, I've been accused of not liking hip-hop and that's just not true. I got a little 50 on my iPod. I really do. Love 'In Da Club' ... Love that, and you know, love Jay-Z, love Kanye, love Mary J." Uh huh....

After the C-section delivery, Stefani’s husband, Gavin Rossdale, and Stefani’s father walked out of the operating room and greeted family waiting in a private room. Rossdale announced that the baby had been born and the entire room started screaming and clapping. Sources say the rocker parents are considering calling their son Kingston, or “King” for short.

Turning gay men straight
Penelope hypnotized and confused gay director Pedro Almodovar in his new film Volver.
He said, "I have a lot of affection for Penelope and during this movie I was almost in love with her. Well, this is a confession. You all know that I'm gay, but when I was younger I had a bisexual live-in partner. The last time that I made love to a woman was 1984. With Penelope, I felt desire again. I was very turned on by her. I was completely hooked. Don't tell her."

Sources say Britney Spears has split from husband Kevin Federline, and her publicist is not denying it. Apparently Britney didn't want to get "hostile" and tried to make it work. Rumor is Spears has banished Federline to live in the basement of their California mansion. Pffft. She reportedly returned from New York this week to find the slug drinking and smoking weed in the house. Off to the basement!

Jolie-Pitt baby coming soon
Angelina Jolie will be a mom by June 3. She has flown her obstetrician/gynecologist to Namibia's Burning Shore resort, where the couple are preparing for labor.
Life & Style reports the medic will induce labor at the beginning of next month unless Jolie delivers naturally before then.
A source close to the couple says, "Doctors who have examined Angie say she should have a normal delivery with no complications." A local Namibian doctor, who examined Jolie earlier this week, told Life & Style, "She's in great physical and mental shape. I don't think there's going to be a problem with the baby or the mother."

Coppola film gets booed
Sofia Coppola has defended her new period drama Marie-Antoinette after it was booed during a press screening at Cannes last night.
Despite admitting the response was "disappointing," Coppola insisted the Kirsten Dunst-starring movie was always going to provoke heated debate. She said, "It's better to get a reaction, it's better than a mediocre response. Hopefully some people will enjoy it. I think it's not for everybody."
Kirsten Dunst said, "I like the movie and I'm really proud." The biopic of the tragic French queen premieres in Cannes tonight. Love Sofia!

The Game arrested for brass
Rapper The Game was arrested last weekend after California police pulled over his car and found him in possession of a "dangerous weapon."
He was stopped in Burbank while traveling in his Bentley because no license plates were on display. Police found brass knuckles in his car. Gasp! He was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and released on $20,000 bail. Harsh, was that necessary?
He will appear in court in approximately 30 days. This is his second police confrontation in the past two months.
