Colin Farrell gets a drop kick

Colin Farrell has been dropped from the lead role in "I'm Not There"- a biopic on Bob Dylan. He was replaced by Heath Ledger. Farrell would have been one of six actors playing the Dylan at various stages of his life.

Other actors lined up to take on the role include Christian Bale and Richard Gere. The White Stripes and Aimee Mann are among the artists who will perform the legendary musician's songs.

Dylan is said to have waived his publishing income to help the budget. Filming starts this summer.
