Madonna's short film "Filth and Wisdom" will premiere at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival. No word on whether Madonna will travel to Germany for the event.

Mischa Barton busted...DUI and narcotics
TMZ is reporting that Mischa Baron has been arrested for DUI, possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license. Just keeping up with the crowd, right?

Britney Spears selected a random dude in a paparazzi crowd and took him back to her hotel last Saturday. "Adnan" the British photog was the chosen one.
Britney picked him from a group of about 40 paps that were following her around Los Angeles. Spears zipped around and visited four different gas stations while the paparazzi chased her. According to WENN, "It was bizarre. No one knew what she was doing. At one point, she pulled over on the freeway and invited a paparazzi into her car. She seemed to be having a lot of fun." Seriously, how is that fun?
Spears ended up in Adnan's car, and they drove off into the night. So romantic. The photog was spotted leaving her hotel the next morning. Maybe they made a nice sex tape together. Hot off the press!

Lynne Spears is moving forward with her book
Extra reports that Lynne Spears is moving forward with her family story. In addition, Thomas Nelson, Inc. claims that the new book "is not a manual on how to parent: It's a warning."
"From the onset, the media have inaccurately reported that Lynne Spears' book is a parenting book. I'm sure this helps fuel tabloid readership, but it's simply not true," said Michael S. Hyatt, president and CEO of Thomas Nelson. "Lynne's memoir will provide a window into the real-life world of fame and worldly success, including the toll it extracts from some who aspire to it. It will provide a much-needed corrective to a world obsessed with the wrong priorities."
He added, "We believe in redemption. Therefore, we are standing by Lynne and her family during this difficult time." Rumors surfaced saying the book would be put off indefinitely, after 16-year-old Jamie Lynn announced her pregnancy. The book's original release was set for 2008.

In 2001, police in Poughkeepsie New York made a shocking discovery—ten bodies buried in the backyard of a residential house. Astonishingly, that was only the beginning.
Inside the home, police uncovered over 800 neatly organized videotapes detailing the exploits of one man’s decade-long crime spree. The most disturbing part of the find, was that the killer had filmed all of the footage himself—from his first moments stalking his victims to their last seconds alive.
THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES examines the homicides—incorporating interviews from criminal experts, testimony from the only victim ever rescued alive, and chilling footage shot from the killer's own camera. All of which document the twisted path of a serial killer as never before.
Beginning in 1988, a wave of missing person reports and unsolved murders from New York to Pennsylvania, began to alarm law enforcement officials. Many of the strange disappearances and dead victims held similarities. Soon the authorities realized they were dealing with a serial killer. The hunt to identify and capture the killer was layered with troubling facts and haunting events, eventually ending at the house where the tapes were found. Unfortunately, the discovery left more questions than answers. Did the killer leave the tapes intentionally? Do the tapes hold hidden clues? Is he still active?
This film dares to show what has never been presented to the public before—the evidence, the puzzle, and the footage of THE POUGHKEEPSIE TAPES. Opens in theaters February 8, 2008.

Rumor is Tony Romo has been told to put his romance with Jessica Simpson on hold so he can concentrate 100%- with it being so close to the end of the NFL season.
A source claims that one team official has suggested to Simpson that it would "be in Tony's best interest" if they chilled out for a couple of weeks.

Texas says...Dump Jessica!
The Dallas Cowboys played The Eagles yesterday and lost 10-6. Texas radio and commentary is already buzzing with "Romo needs to dump Jessica" this morning.
Defense had a great game, but poor Romo couldn't complete any passes because Jessica was staring him down from the lux box...in a Cowboy's jersey. What? Isn't that what you do after dating for a couple of weeks? How high schoolish. Was his letter jacket behind her seat?
Romo ended the game with a rating of just 22.2 – the worst ever in his entire career. Ironically, his previous low was last December, when Carrie Underwood was in the stands. Pattern?
The Dallas Morning News says when Jessica hopped out of Romo's SUV before the game, a female fan yelled, "Worry about the game- not your girlfriend!" Nice try lady.
Dallas radio dudes Lex and Terry have offered any fan $1000 if they are caught at the next Cowboy's game in a freeze shot wearing a "Dump Jessica" t-shirt.
"They played well; we didn't play well," coach Wade Phillips said. "That's what it came down to." We hope for the Cowboy's sake that this isn't one of Papa Joe's publicity stunts.
Update: Sources say Jessica has rented a house for an "extended stay" in a North Dallas neighborhood. Later Super Bowl.

Word is Amy Winehouse is planning a trip to rehab in the New Year. But first, she is planning a nice, big crack party at her new London flat over the holidays.
Amy's pal told The Sun, "She has agreed she will sort her life out in the New Year. Her team is sending her on a one-week rehab and detox treatment course in Israel."
"But she is going to throw a party at her new flat in east London over Christmas - which will probably be a messy affair." Messy? What if she pulls the overdose everyone has been waiting for?

She's a one-take perfectionist and Vince likes to try it a few different ways. Sometimes Vince will be standing behind her and he has this look on his face that he just wants to kill her!"

Minnelli collapses on stage
Liza Minnelli collapsed as she was leaving the stage during a Christmas performance in Sweden. She returned to the US yesterday for treatment, her rep says. "Liza is fine." Uh, if you say so.
Minnelli, 61, was performing in Gothenburg Wednesday night in a concert called "A Classic Christmas Night," said Zlatko Nedanovski, who works for the company organizing the show. He said Minnelli felt unwell and nauseous before the concert but decided to perform anyway.
"She performed four songs, which was about half her set," Nedanovski said. "She felt unwell, walked towards the stairs behind the stage, took her first step off the stage, became unconscious, and fell into the arms of someone walking with her."
He claims the audience saw Minnelli collapse. You Tube? "She remained unconscious for about five seconds. She seemed very dizzy afterwards," he said.

A source told Us Weekly, "Think Nick and Jessica's 'Newlyweds', but with a lot more sex and a crazier family life. These two don't have any boundaries, which is perfect for reality stars." Naomi accused other celebs of stealing her cell at the concert's after party. "As soon as she realized her stuff was missing she started screaming and shouting and wildly pointed in the direction of where Dave Grohl was sitting, screeching, 'Have they got it, have they got it?,'" a source claims.
