David Beckham...The real desperate housewife

Beckham apparently suffers from OCD and he is quite particular about his Beverly Hills home. This week's Globe reports that Becks likes to vacuum in "precise, straight lines- while wearing an apron." There's your visual of the day...Wonder what Posh does while this is going on.

Globe claims, "Everything has to be perfect or he gets all bent out of shape. David also color codes the fridge and insists everything be in pairs. If there's one too many soda cans or bottles on a shelf, he'll throw it away or hide it in a cupboard somewhere."

I think David and Victoria are such a gorgeous couple, but everybody have to agree that their behavior is not a good example for their kids nor anybody else. Have you seen this news reporting that David was accused for snubbing child cancer survivors? He defends himself saying that he haven't seen them... I don't know... what do you think?

Nail Tips from Expert Manicurist Gina Eppolito Rihanna Celebrity Nail Stylist Shares DIY Nail Looks ELLE
Beauty Chat with Rihanna's coach factory Nail Guru, Gina EppolitoJuly 30 10:10 AMby Amber Katz 0 CommentsPhoto: Ondrea Barbe Celebrity manicurist Gina Eppolito’s career took off when she joined the "team of experts" onset as the nail technician for the ladies of Sex and the City 10 years ago. That glamorous gig paved the way for her to work on other television, commercial and movie sets, as well as creating nail looks for numerous red carpet events. Eppolito has buffed the tips of such stars as Kelly Ripa, Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman, and Halle Berry, among others. Here, we caught up with the talon-tender who’s partnered with Red Carpet Manicure, an at-home gel manicure system. Our favorite item from the brand? RCM’s new Gem and Jewels Kit, which gives understated manicures a crystallized pop. Read on to learn all about Eppolito’s best DIY tricks and what it’s like to decorate the digits of Rihanna. ELLE: Can you provide some tips on creating DIY nail art looks? Gina Eppolito: Some of the best nail art is created on a whim. Start out small, because you can always add to the look. It’s easier to add than take away. Have fun and play with ideas like the ones suggested in the new Red Carpet Manicure nail art kits—you can even scan the QR code and watch Red Carpet Manicure how-to videos. ELLE: What kind of brushes are best for nail art? GE: A dotting pen is not only great for dots, but also for creating straight or curved lines. Anyone can use a wedge sponge for fading—it’s easy! ELLE: It's hard to forget about the $5,000, 24-karat Red Carpet Manicure gold polish Rihanna wore to the 2012 Grammy Awards. How did that look come about? GE: Rihanna works with a team in New York and Los Angeles, as she is always traveling. For the Grammys, that look was created with L.A. manicurist Kimmie Kyees using Red Carpet Manicure "Amor 24"—a real 24-karat coach outlet online [infused] gold polish! Consumers can get a similar look using the brand’s "I Am So Honored" polish. We’re always doing something different with her nails. We love to coordinate her manicures with her outfits. For the 2012 Met Gala, we created a stiletto nail using Red Carpet Manicure "Black Stretch Limo" to compliment her gorgeous black dress by Tom Ford. It’s my all-time coach factory outlet online favorite nail concept I’ve coach outlet online created. ELLE: What's been most exciting and challenging in your career thus far? GE: Most exciting was having the opportunity to give Sir Paul McCartney a manicure at the brand new Yankee Stadium, then attending his concert. As for most challenging, the glam squad (hair and makeup) is often managing space constraints and a time restriction to get a client ready. ELLE: That’s incredible! What's next for you? GE: Red Carpet Manicure has lots of new product launches coming up and I am excited to be a part of their team. I’m also working on magazine covers, touching up the tips of my celeb clientele and creating fun new nail art!

Miguel Interview Miguel on Style and Kaleidoscope Dream ELLE
Listen Up: MiguelDecember 21 10:08 AMby Dan Hyman 0 CommentsPhoto: Tim Saccenti"It's still a little surreal," says 2012 breakout R&B singer Miguel, struggling to come to grips with the fact that he recently garnered five Grammy Award nominations, including the coveted Song of the Year honors for "Adorn," the slinky, sexualized lead single off his spectacular discount ray ban sunglasses avant-garde album Kaleidoscope Dream. "I'll be honest with you," the vocalist continues. "It's kinda crazy!"In the three months since the 27-year-old born Miguel Pimentel released his now-universally acclaimed LP (which tops many critics' year-end lists), he's found himself suddenly being touted as R&B's Next Big Thing. Still, Miguel insists he feels blessed that anyone is even listening to his music. "Just having an audience is all you could ever ask for," he explains. "Everything else is discount karen millen dresses just great. It's an extra. An added bonus."The man's humility is likely born from his undeniably choppy road to recognition: after signing with Jive Records in 2007, a contract dispute prevented Miguel's debut LP, All I Want Is You, from being released for nearly two years. And by the time it saw the light of day in November 2010, any palpable buzz surrounding him had since floundered. All I Want Is You did become something of a sleeper hit, however, peaking at number 37 on the Billboard 200. But it was hardly a game-changer. "Sometimes being at the butt-end of jokes and whatnot, it does get kind of old after awhile," he admits, reflecting on the not-so-distant past. "You're like 'Man. I just don't understand.' But one by one you start to convince people through the art and through hard work and through consistency."Enter Kaleidoscope Dream. Miguel admits his breakout album—a 12-track exploration full of skewed vocal echoes and gurgly synth eruptions that pushes the limits of pop-music conventions—was a bit of a gamble. "I was a little nervous discount oakley sunglasses to put it out because it was a bit different," he says of the release, which channels Marvin Gaye by way of Daft Punk. "You know, people aren't always the most open-minded." But with genre peers like Frank cheap oakley sunglasses Ocean and How To Dress Well pushing the boundaries of what's marketable in R&B, Miguel felt it appropriate to flip the script on the genre’s stereotypes. "It was important for me to remind people that there's no formula...there's no boundary to R&B music," he offers. "I like going to a bar and pulling a bitch just like the next dude. But that's not all my life is about. I think about other things. And to create an album that is solely about love or sex or bagging ladies or romance [would reinforce] the caricature that R&B has become."For the singer, who fancies himself style-conscious—he describes his look as "timelessly classic yet modern and dangerous"—the reality of his recent success is occasionally overwhelming. "I hate to be the not-cool guy, but Kanye West in the airport [came up to me cheap oakley sunglasses and said], 'Yo, your album is all I'm listening to on my phone.' I wish I was cooler than that to be like 'Oh, of course Kanye listens to my music.' But I'm just not that dude."

Simon Doonan Interview Simon Doonan for One Kings Lane and Chandon ELLE
Ten Questions: Simon DoonanDecember 4 2:30 PMby Yale Breslin 0 Comments Photo: Albert Sanchez Barneys New York's creative ambassador-at-large Simon Doonan has had a busy holiday season. For starters, he’s in the process of putting together a book, slated to come out about a year from now. The working title is Fashion Asylum, and it’s a tome based on a "collage of modish reminiscences." He is also spreading cheer via his designer wrapping paper for One Kings Lane (with proceeds going to charity) and his Share Some Sparkle campaign for Chandon (through which he is offering tips as well as a limited-edition tambourine ornament and wine gift set). Now that his stylish husband, Jonathan Adler, has recently answered our favorite ten questions, we asked Doonan to fill them out, as well.1. What is your favorite smell? "I am a '60s counter-culture bitch at heart, so I am still digging Patchouli 24 by Le Labo."2. What do you consider to be the epitome of happiness? "Lolling on the beach in Florida with my Jonny and our dog Liberace, watching him dig holes and pretend to be a dog."3. How do you define luxury? "Let's not kid ourselves: Luxury is not spiritual. It's having the dosh to shop at Barneys, stay in fab hotels, and travel business or first [class]. There is nothing wrong with luxury, but it should be counterbalanced with some gritty charitable self-denying activities so you never forget how lucky you are."4. What is the last dream you remember? "My dreams are always gothic and horrible. I usually end up lying in a corner eating my own hair."5. What's your favorite childhood memory? "Watching my mum get all gussied up and transform herself from Irish peasant into Lana Turner. That's the magic of style."6. What's the last book you read and loved? "Martin Amis's new book Lionel Asbo is a scream...but maybe only if you are English."7. Describe your home's aesthetic. "Two words: Jonathan Adler. He's a design genius!"8. What are your vices? "I used to be a drunk in my 20s. But I don't really have any addictions now. However, I am a big show-off and love attention. Does that count?"9. Describe yourself in five words or less. "Short, scrappy, bearded, cheeky, and 'fantabulosa!'"10. What possession will cheap karen millen you never throw away? "I have a brass airplane, filed and sculpted by my mum Betty when she was in the Royal Air Force in WW2. She met my dad during the war. They were naughty and unconventional. The airplane reminds me of how fab they were."
