Kylie takes over hospital

Just not sure about this one-there has to be more to the story. The Herald Sun reports that Kylie Minogue cleared out eight rooms at the Cabrini Hospital, taking rooms away from elderly patients awaiting heart surgery. No way. Evidently she needs an "entire wing."

Medical staff are angered for the other "regular" patients. They have to walk through intensive care and be put through rigorous security screening before they can see their sick loved ones.

"It's highly unusual that a patient with non-cardio problems that doesn't require monitoring is placed in those beds," said a doctor at Cabrini, who asked that he not be named. I must admit several people were severely inconvenienced. I was very surprised that eight beds were given to one patient with a non-cardiac condition. The intensive care unit was treated as a thoroughfare. It was very distressing and very inappropriate."
