Goodbye Dana Reeve

Christopher Reeve's wife Dana has lost her battle with lung cancer, she was only 44.

"We are extremely saddened by the death of Dana Reeve, whose grace and courage under the most difficult of circumstances was a source of comfort and inspiration to all of us," Kathy Lewis, president and CEO of the Christopher Reeve Foundation, said in a statement.

"Dana will always be remembered for her passion, strength and ceaseless courage that became her hallmark," Lewis said. "Along with her husband, Christopher, she faced adversity with grace and determination, bringing hope to millions around the world."

The couple had a 13-year-old son, Will, and Dana Reeve had two grown stepchildren, Matthew and Alexander.

Wow. That sucks. At least her and Superman can fly the skies together now. I wonder if they had kids.

Oh my God...that's really sad but I just hope she's in a better place now and maybe, like Kat said, she's back with her Superman...

Will, Matthew and Alexander Reeve should stay far, far away from movie sets, equestrian races, and cigarettes.
Its very tragic how one family can have so much tragedy befall upon them.

One day their son will know, that Mom and Dad and together and out of pain and most of all together.
To lose both parents is hard, but Dana was only living for her husband, she lost him and the will to live.
Hopefully the pain will soften as time goes on

She was an incredibly strong, patient, obviously devoted and GOOD woman. God put her on earth to do good things and it's just a a shame that, with all that she has been through and considering her incredibly trying life, she couldn't have lived longer to do more for herself and for her children.
