Courteney Cox returns to TV

Courteney Cox will be in a new tv series for FX. Cox will play tabloid editor Lucy Spiller in the drama pilot Dirt.

Production for the show starts later this month in LA. "We are absolutely thrilled that Courteney has chosen Dirt for her return to series television," Nick Grad, FX's VP of original programming said.

Cox is executive producing with husband David Arquette and creator Matthew Carnahan, who will also write and direct the pilot episode.
