In Touch reports that Lindsay has purchased a home that Marilyn once lived in. Neighbors say they have seen Lohan moving herself into Monroe's old two-bedroom apartment in the El Palacio building.
Lohan is expected to move in after her rehab stay at the Wonderland Center in LA. Marilyn moved out before her overdose, but Hollywood legend Dorothy Dandridge committed suicide in the same building. (Insert ghost sounds here)

Lohan gets a little closer to Marilyn Monroe

Probably worth noting that Anna Nicole Smith once lived there as well . . .
Anna Nicole rented the house Monroe died in. Evidently this property that Lohan is buying is an apartment building. Monroe always lived very modestly for some reason. The house Smith rented was the first house Monroe ever owned. She even had a mortgage.
Anna Nicole lived in Marilyn's Brentwood house on Helena. It is indeed the only house she ever owned. Lohan purchased a condo in the El Palacio Apts. at 8491 Fountain where Marilyn lived briefly. Dorothy Dandridge did not live in the El Palacio Apts but died in a smaller 6 or 8-flat at 8495 Franklin in Hollywood.
