The Sun is reporting that Simpson will play a lifeguard in a new Baywatch film.
A source said: "Jessica really caught the eye in The Dukes of Hazzard film last summer. She was the unanimous choice for the Baywatch role. Jessica has all the assets to make Pammy's part her own."
Jess will join Carmen Electra, Yasmine Bleeth, Traci Bingham and possibly Pamela herself, who is rumored to be making a cameo in the film. Producers are still "courting" David Hasselhoff to join the cast. Courting? Yeah, it's going to take a lot to get him to shuffle his schedule around

I have a question? Who is going to actually pay to see a film about "Baywatch?" Maybe if they threw it on Lifetime and I was housebound, strapped to the couch and gagged I'd watch it. But ONLY then.
I can just see The Hoff in a meeting with the producers, "Give me TWO GOOD reasons to do this movie!" He exclaims, with bloodshot eyes and grope-y hand gestures.
This movie will be so huge in Germany.
