Word is Katie Holmes will join Lance Armstrong in the ING New York City Marathon on November 4. Holmes has been spotted jogging/training in Berlin where husband Tom Cruise is working on the set of Valkyrie

Katie will unite with thousands of other runners for the 26-mile race. A source claims, "Katie is determined to complete the race and make Tom proud. She's been training for months, both in Los Angeles and in Berlin. She's as fit and toned as she's ever been in her life. Katie is going to surprise a lot of people."
